MoDeSt 2010 continues a series of successful and well-attended meetings, the most recent of which were held in Liege (Belgium, 2008) and San Sebastian (Spain, 2006). MoDeSt Conferences are by all measures truly international meetings, drawing polymer scientists and engineers, or simply individuals interested in the present and future of plastics. The objective is to present, discuss and diffuse the state-of-the-art knowledge in polymer modification, degradation and stabilization. Pertinent aspects will be covered in a comprehensive and well-structured program, including advances in nanotechnology, polymers and the environment, bio-related polymers and development of advanced textile materials.
