Capitalizing on the success of the previous five IT Forums, KPMG in Greece announces the organization of its 6th IT Forum, scheduled to take place on September 21, 2010 at the Pentelikon Hotel.

During the course of the previous five IT Forums, the Forum addressed contemporary topics and discussed them with eminent speakers and experienced representatives from the community of IT professionals. The primary aim was to set up the core of a uniquely-created IT network of these professionals.

Key Discussion Topics

The thematic axis of this year's event, as proposed by many of last IT Forum's participants, will be ERP Strategy. Within this framework, the field's technological developments will be discussed along with their contribution to the improvement of corporate output and operations.

Drawing from the above topic, the event will begin with a keynote address by INSEAD professor Yves Doz on the value of ERP Strategy. Following this, results from a KPMG Global Survey will be presented. Titled, "From cost to value: 2010 Global Survey on the CIO Agenda", the report highlights the changes in the priorities and the targets of CIOs following the financial crisis, as well as the impact of the crisis on IT investments.

The above will be followed by the results of a study conducted especially for the Greek market, which details the success, customer satisfaction, and other information about ERP implementation in over 100 companies operating in Greece.
