8th International Meeting of Archaeological Film of the Mediterranean Area and Beyond

Agon and the "Archaeology and Arts" magazine present the 8th International Meeting of Archaeological Film of the Mediterranean Area and beyond.

The theme of the festival is extended, so is the Competition: 55 remarkable films are competing for the Jury and the Public Awards.

From Mycenae and Nemea to Mali and Nigeria, from Kastelorizo and Messene to the Easter Island and the Mayas, from Crete and Cyprus to Zanzibar and Kenya, we set out on a journey of 36 hours of screenings.

Despite the difficult times we all live in, we keep on "investing" in the quest for our cultural heritage and identity, through archaeological documentary. It is not about just recording the past, but expressing feelings and thoughts that unite people.
