Croatia Airlines flights between Zagreb and Athens will be scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday using Airbus 319 and Airbus 320 aircraft. The flight leaves Zagreb at 15:25 and arrives in Athens at 17:15. Departure from Athens is at 19:05, arriving in Zagreb at 20:05.

The expansion of its destination network in northeast Europe is part of the company's development programme and includes the bolstering of its position as a regional leader. Direct flights will further strengthen the economic cooperation and friendly relations between Croatia and Greece.

Croatia Airlines expects that the launching of flights between Zagreb and Athens will strengthen the company's position in the Star Alliance and the worldwide product offered to passengers by the largest airline alliance in the world, of which it became a member in January.
