The ESPGHAN Committee on Gastroenterology invites trainees in Pediatric Gastroenterology to attend the next ESPGHAN Gastroenterology Summer School which will take place in Mati, a small town at the seaside, on the east coast of Attica peninsula, 26 km from the centre of Athens, Greece. The Summer School will take place from 4th - 9th of September 2010 at the Aquamarina Hotel, and will focus on "News and Controversies in Pediatric Gastroenterology".
- Summer School learning objectives
- After the Summer School, the participants should:
- Have a complete and deep knowledge on the following main topics of this GI summerschool: IBD, Coeliac disease, functional GI disorders, GERD, allergic GI diseases, nutritional issues in GI diseases.
- Know about controversial issues and gaps in the knowledge.
- Read critically and be able to discuss scientific literature in this field.
- Have a current practical knowledge
