ACROPOLIS METRO STATION - ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXHIBITION

While all of Athens’ new metro stations are graced with classical and contemporary works of art, the Acropolis station is a special gem. The archaeological exhibit here is a clear indication of the modern, yet classical depth of the Athens of today. The ultra-modern station boasts vitrines of fine replicas of sculptures from the Parthenon and actual findings found during the amazing underground construction of the station.
